Welcome to Keenaghan Stud

Keenaghan Stud is based in Co Armagh N.Ireland owned and run by International Rider and trainer Becky Cullen and husband Declan. The Studs mission is to breed and produce quality Irish Sport Horses (ISH) and Thoroughbreds for eventing. For last the 13 years ISH has been the number one breed in eventing, propelling Ireland as the home of the event horse. Besides the breeding, the training of young riders is a key function of the Keenaghan plan using the knowledge gained by both Declan and Becky both international winners themselves. Keenahgan Stud "bred to win ,trained to win" is their mission statement . Keenaghan Stud has been developed to provide a platform of breeding to the Irish Sport Horse for eventing and producing some of Irelands young eventing talents.

Becky’s role as a trainer (EFI approved coach) over sees a number of young riders and juniors competing internationally. Most students’ ride they own horses, but also have the opportunity to have lessons on the more experienced horses at the stud. The Keenaghan Stud is been developed also as a “Eventing Academy”, to help train and develop the skills required for modern 3 – day Eventing. Providing the training for riders and their horses combined with nutritional support and advice on planning a program of fitness for achieving their goals.
